Headway Logistic Ltd are part of Empresaria Plc and provide managed picking services to clients within their own warehouses. We are currently starting operations in the UK. Our experience is gained through the success of our German sister company headway logistic Gmbh who have been providing picking services for over 6 years and currently have over 2,000 workers delivering these services.
Headway Logistic continue to enjoy rapid growth in Germany and we expect a similar outcome in the UK. What makes headway different is that we charge clients on a cost per pick basis which means that they pay for work done rather than time spent. Consequently, our model offers our clients the opportunity to make cost savings through productivity improvement. Obviously this is very appealing. For the workers, because we pay on performance, committed employees can earn significantly higher wages than would normally be the case as the harder you work, the more you pick and the more you earn. We see this as a great opportunity where everyone wins and people are directly rewarded for their effort.
We are currently talking to clients throughout the UK and are interested in hearing from anyone who is interested in working hard, being rewarded directly in proportion for their effort (rather than being constrained by a fixed hourly rate) and who is happy to work anywhere in the UK.
