An emerging Yorkshire company based in Doncaster has walked away with a top business award presented at a Gala Dinner at The Royal Armouries, Leeds recently.
Force 10 with its dynamic approach to bringing highly qualified ex service personnel and potential employers together, is the creation of Doncaster born Tony Ward, a former Regimental Sergeant Major, who served for 24 years in the army and has also experienced civilian life as an employee and employer.
Now the team that has become a real force in the recruitment field is also a winner - of ‘Best New Start’ Business at The Biz Awards 2008 – an award that recognises high achieving businesses under three years old across Yorkshire and Humberside.
A delighted Tony, who launched the company in association with James Squires of respected recruitment company Austin Banks in March 2007 said:
“ The Services today are training and developing people who have the qualities businesses need to grow and succeed. Loyalty, integrity, discipline and adaptability are values that many employers would be thrilled to find in an interviewee and we pride ourselves on putting the right people together.”
“This Award is a real vindication of the original concept that created Force 10. We are obviously thrilled to win it and will now take the company forward with a very welcome award under our belt.”
